It’s not every day we are recognized for our accomplishments. To have that happen in front of a group of your peers in a large, public setting is exceedingly rare. Thanks to Fast Eddie Speedwear’s ‘Night of Champions’ champions in Drag Racing, Oval Racing and Road Racing from across Canada received the accolades they deserved.
On Saturday March 9th 2024, at the MOTORAMA Custom Car & Motorsports Expo, Daniel Demaras was brought up onto the Meguiar’s Stage and acknowledged as the 2023 Canadian Formula 1200 Champion and the 2023 VARAC Formula Classic Champion after his superb sophomore year in road racing.
Championship plaques were handed out by a Canadian legend; 2-time Olympian and 3-time World Champion figure skater Elvis Stojko. Since retiring from active competition, Stojko has been climbing the motorsports ladder and now races in the CASC-OR Prototype Challenge series in a Revolution RSR race cars.
