Last season, Daniel Demaras raced every kind of car he could. Road racing in a BRD F1200 car, time attack in a Mazda Miata, and for a portion of the summer, oval-track racing in the SKLD Acura Integra. At Sunset Speedway the old adage rubbin’ is racin’ is too true. The body panels take a real beating.

During the long off-season from racing, the SKLD Motorsports team has been working on restoring the No. 9 bone-stock car. Aside from all the mechanical repairs you cannot see, they have re-skinned the back half of the car. The first race isn’t until May 4th, so it’s still a work in progress,

Daniel is looking forward to another summer of door-banging on the short-oval. It’ll be interesting to see how good the No. 9 car will look once it’s been painted and the new livery decals are applied. Might even look as good as new.
