It’s not the front over of the New York Times, but Daniel Demaras was stoked to see a picture of his championship winning race car in Inside Track. Covering everything from grassroots racing to regional series, this magazine is a big deal to Canadian racers!
The spring issue of Inside Track includes articles on IndyCar champion Alex Palou and the NASCAR Canada Series renaming. So, for Daniel Demaras just seeing his name mentioned in the same pages as racing heroes was a real honour. The issue is on sole at newsstands until May 31 2024, so grab a copy while they last.
The magazine is even more recognition for Canadian racing champions. Two weeks ago at Motorama 2024, the racing expo that’s the heart of the show, took the opportunity to recognize series winners from across Canada, including Demaras’ championships in VARAC Formula Classic and the Canadian Formula 1200 Championship.
