Georges St-Pierre is a Canadian icon. There is nobody better at punching people in the face than the 3-time UFC Welterweight Champ. So, when a guy with a history of violence advises drivers to chill out behind the wheel, you realize how rough driving in Montreal really is.

Geroges says some funny stuff about not trying to stop another driver from speeding past him “If he break the laws, perhaps the cops will stop him. Who cares? I’m not his dad.”

Take it from GSP; no matter how competitive you are by nature, it’s not a race. Let it go.

  1. For all my considerable grumbling about the internet, I would never know of Georges, let alone Demaras Racing, without it.

My son is a huge MMA fan. He is currently in drug rehab and I hope to see him soon. Can’t wait to discuss GSP with him.

    1. Glad to be of service!

GSP is like royalty in Canada. If that Trudeau guy ever steps down as Prime Minister, I would put money on GSP making a run for the top job.

      1. I just like the way he speaks. He is so very Quebecois. French grammar and a heavy accent.

And back in the day (when he was still fighting) he would trash talk in the most adorable Canadian way, saying things to his rivals like “I’m not impressed by your performance”

        So nice!

  2. Georges St-Pierre was my favorite MMA fighter until he retired for good in 2017. I never really watched it much after that.

I watch Conor McGregor from time to time, but he’s so over the top, I can only take him in small doses…like him. He’s a wee man. 🤣🤣

    1. As a Canadian I am legally required to cheer for GSP, but I also think he’s a good, humble guy. His interviews on being bullied as a kid are … surprising.

Connor is like the Flavor Flav of the UFC. A ‘hype man’ that gets the people.going.
      .
But when I you saw that new Roadhouse movie, his schtick really wore thin quickly.
