Driving around Toronto, we spotted this GMC Savanna Cargo van parked at a fast food diner. Talked to the owner just long enough to ask him if it was a wrap, he rolled his eyes. Said an ‘artist’ came up from New York City to custom graffiti spray-paint the van.

Told him his van was dope. He lit up a cigarette and smiled while driving away.
But how can he tell if someone tags it?
That’s actually called a ‘van enhancement’ in this case.
Alas, I do not have a picture of it any longer, but there’s a guy with The Mystery Machine who drives around in Utah. Scooby-Doo Doo!!!
Girl, I though you’re a Texan? Utah is like the other side of the world!
I am right now…before that I’ve been a Washingtonian, an Oregonian, an Idahoan, a Montanan, a Utahan, and the list goes on…shall I continue? 🤣🤣 A shorter list would just be to call me…Gypsy. 😉
A well-travelled woman.
.
You know what’s funny? I live in the biggest city in Canada, 250 sq. mi., nearly 7,000,000 people, and yet I now live less than 5 minutes away from the home I grew up in (and have always lived on the east end). Whatever the opposite of gypsy is… that’s me.
Truthfully I envy you. I’ve never felt at home anywhere I’ve been. I’m always searching for that one place that makes me never want to leave. You found that. You’re blessed. 🤗
It doesn’t have “If this van’s a rockin’, don’t come a knocking!” that I can see.
True. And the guy looked old enough to have been part of the Vannin’ craze of the ’70s.
Speaking of vans in the 70s, remember this? https://youtu.be/AxFxnk4OITs
I have never seen that movie in my life, but you may have given me a new Fast Film Friday review!
Cheech and Chong can be hilarious. I started listening to their albumes when I was a teenager.
I think I saw up in smoke as a little kid… but I couldn’t have understood much. With Christmas break coming up, this seems like a perfect family-friendly film.
It will be good for a family laugh.
Yeah, I call them kids, but my children are 15 and 21. Maybe I’ll start calling them ‘progeny’ instead of kiddies next time. Certainly old enough to watch Cheech & Chong.
.
I’ll watch for the van!
My kid is 38. She just moved to Germany with her job.
