Recently stumbled across a YT channel from Poland called Neon Drivers with some new Synthwave tracks. Retro sports cars of the 80s like the Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari Testarossa and DMC DeLorean are iconic symbols of this electronic music genre.
“Step back in time to the magic of an 80’s summer night – a time when neon lights danced to the rhythm of Synthwave, and the road stretched endlessly ahead.“
Synthwave is heavily influenced by 1980s new wave music, but isn’t happy pop music; it’s more like the lo-fi soundtrack to the seedy subject matter beneath the neon lights of Miami Vice.

Sometimes spelled out S Y N T H W A V E there are further subgenres called Retrowave and Phonk popular with automotive enthusiasts who use the music as background for drifting or simply driving along endless highways against a backdrop of futuristic cities.
Nice vibe, Chris. Also wow how nice to view your blog ONLINE.
Yup. That’s the ticket.
.
I hope to do some night driving this weekend, and hopefully I’ll get permission from there Neon Driver guys in Poland to use their music in the video (without as copyright issue).
.
We’ll see.
The last time I saw a Lamborghini casually raise its fin to allow the driver to exit was in Chicago a year ago. Still such an awesome design.
It must be SO cool to open those scissor doors and step out as all the gawkers thing ‘Gosh, he must be somebody important ‘
