For gearheads and TV babies, ‘Pimp My Ride‘ was one of those epic shows that we all miss. It’s been 15 years since Xzibit got the guys at West Coast Customs to put a snow-cone machine in a Pontiac Sunfire. But it looks like some execs at Haagen-Dazs were watching.
They had the custom car shop build an ice cream-inspired 1963 Cadillac Series 62 convertible that will be featured in a Super Bowl commercial this Sunday.

Now they’ve crossed and on social media. spot to life with a cross country journey dubbed “Dazs Drive.” Driving from Los Angeles to New Orleans in the ultimate ice cream vehicle, the journey is a slow spin on the traditional American road trip.
Rapper and actor Ludacris of F&F fame orders up a customized Haagen-Dazs Cadillac slathered in the brand’s deep cherry colour. complete with a freezer in the trunk and ice-cream cone holder in the armrest for the driver and passenger. The customizations are just as goofy as the stuff ‘Pimp My Ride’ used to do. Good times!
For three weeks, Haagen-Dazs has been putting out teasers on social media of its F&F inspired “Not So Fast, Not So Furious” commercial featuring Dom and Letty plus Ludacris character of Tej Parker. This crossover between ‘Pimp My Ride’ and ‘Fast and Furious’ will really send the commercials into overdrive.
That’s a fabulous build. Ludacris is one of the few rappers I like.
BTW you might like Tractor Polka (Pimp My Tractor). It has a tractor race in the end. https://youtu.be/_DOa5lbtdjU
That was the strangest video Ive seen all day! But I really liked the two blonde girls!
They are gorgeous twins.
At first I didnt like that they painted the chrome, then I realised it looks like vanilla ice cream. How cool!
.
And that white leather… luxurious.
That car is way cool!
Ha! Cool… because of the ive cream freezer in the trunk.
Well yeah but also that gorgeous burgundy paint color and that lush white leather. Pièce de résistance is the cone holder.
