Million to One Drift Moment

Here’s a one in one million moment caught on video at the LET’S DRIFT Championship in Russia. Keep your eye on the black drift car; that’s Artem Perepelitsa.

On April 20 2025, during the first stage of the St. Petersburg round, Perepelitsa’s tire was cut down, and popped right of the rim. The tire rolled along parallel to the slowing race car, then mounted itself right back on the wheel.

Although we can’t understand what they’re saying, the announcers totally freaked out over what they saw, and if it was up to them, Artem would take home the winners trophy on the spot. But for his efforts, and once-in-a-lifetime moment, Perepelitsa finished 3rd in the individual competition.
