This little red Corvette is more than just a flashy paint job. The No. 13 Corvette Z06 GT3.R of AWA Racing will carry he maple leaf into competition at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the first all-Canadian team in… years. The special livery was revealed in France today.

Behind the wheel will be Lars Kern, Matt Bell and bronze-rated driver Orey Fidani, whose father Carlo Fidani co-owns Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mosport) with Canadian racing legend Ron Fellows.
“This is more than just a race for us; it’s an opportunity to represent our country in front of the world!”
– Orey Fidani
The AWA team has started off the 2025 racing season strong, winning the 24 Hours of Daytona this spring, and are hoping to add another endurance car victory.

While the team normally competes in North America, AWA was granted an automatic entry into the 24 Hours of Le Mans thanks to Orey Fidani’s winning of the 2024 Bob Akin Award, which goes to the top bronze-rated driver in the IMSA Sports Car Series.
I love the paint job.
Me too. Patriotic and communist all at the same time.
WOW!!!! That is so cool. One more reason to watch Le Mans this year.
Agreed. We’ll have someone new to cheer for now. I’m always proud to see Canadian competing on the international stage.
