Italo-Swiss sports car racing team Iron Dames were founded in 2018 with the goal of supporting and promoting women in motorsport. A subsidiary of DC Racing Solutions which also runs IndyCar team Prema Racing, the Iron Dames’ all-female driver lineup of Rahel Frey, Michelle Gatting and (making her Le Mans debut) Celia Martin will compete in the No 85 Porsche 911 LMGT3.R at the 93rd annual 24 Hours of Le Mans.

French oil company Total helped develop the ‘Powering Your Dreams’ livery for the Iron Dames as part of their sponsorship arrangement. Bold statements are painted on the car including Total Passion, Total Determination, and not-ironically for an oil company, Total Energy. The race begins on Saturday June 14 2025 at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France.
UPDATE: “Iron Dames regret to announce that Michelle Gatting will not be taking part in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans after sustaining foot fractures during a pit stop driver change in yesterday’s test session. This is deeply disappointing for Michelle and the entire team, Sarah Bovy will step in to join Rahel Frey and Celia Martin in the Iron Dames lineup.”

Go girs!
Yes! I love this team.
I hope they do well.
