Not sure who paid for all this silliness, but Haas Formula 1 Team driver Ollie Bearman is back in a go-kart. This time he’s in full old-man makeup and the false identity of Gerald Stephens.
Bearman is at the Daytona Sandown Park in Surrey, England for an ‘arrive and drive‘ go-kart race. While everyone at the track believes he’s just a doddering old man, his mission was to qualify dead last then win the race by passing all 16 karts. He made up 7 positions in the first lap alone, then gobbled up the remaining racers in less than 10 laps.
There’s a great payoff at the end as old-timer Ollie stands on the top step of the podium to the disbelieving eyes of his fellow competitors.
