Police in Mississauga, just west of Toronto, were just baffled when they started getting phone calls about a Mazda driving along the Queensway with a set of metal stairs on its roof. The driver was charged with careless driving but the series of bad decision that led to this moment leaves more questions unanswered.

How does a Mazda get wedged under a staircase, then pull it away from the building? When the rear window shattered, the airbags deployed why did the driver just… keep driving? Why not stop, assess the situation, and call for some help?

The answer…welcome to Toronto the land where reason and logic come to die.

  1. When I first saw this, I thought they were moving a staircase. I hadn’t seen the close-up photos showing the damage to the car.

I suspect drugs or alcohol played a role in this…

      1. Imagine it’s a teenager trying to hide it from his/her parents. Trying to get to a body shop without them finding out.

Then they end up on the news and worldwide viral ridicule.
