As an end of the year treat, Daniel Demaras and Chris Demaras headed over to the Mosport DDT for three days of driving supercars on a proper race track. Friday provided the GEARHEADS GIVING BACK raffle winner a chance to drive a Ferrari. But it also gave Daniel his first drive in an Aston Martin.
For his first ‘track day experience’ of the weekend, Daniel immediately chose the hi-viz yellow Aston Martin V8 Vantage. An English ‘grand touring’ car with an American-style V8 and RWD platform, these are properly referred to as a ‘gentlemen’s express’. Aston Martin is also the team the Formula 1 god Fernando Alonso drives for, so it’s no surprise that Daniel selected it!
