The ugly Christmas sweater has become a cultural phenomenon in recent years. And now Jeep owners can give their Wrangler or Gladiator that same look.
These adhesive panels by MEK, available in the parts department, are called Trail Armor and are designed to protect a Jeep’s painted surfaces from scratches while out on the trail.

Your rough-and-tough Jeep can have whimsical, holiday look. Hopefully, Santa Claus will sneak a set down the chimney tonight, because the panels only adhere down to -10°C (15°F) so Canadians might be worried about the $1,000 purchase.
I was interested right up until “$1000”. Tho honestly, I have no idea if that’s a reasonable price or not.
For a stick on thingy that looks like a Christmas sweater, that seems very steep.
Word.
That’s lame quality on the temperatures. It’s already been down to 16º F down here. They are probably more of a California thing. I didn’t know ugly Christmas sweaters were a thing until 2009 when a young friend asked me to do photos of him in ugly Christmas sweaters to make Christmas cards with. I’m culturally impaired.
Agreed…but I never thought of Arizona or California drivers being the target for these body-armor panels. Still a steep price… especially if they fall off in the cold.
The warm and money.
