Auto-Links Inc. in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough is one of the premiere aftermarket shops in the city. They specialize in automotive tint, PPF paint protection, full-vehicle wraps, anti-theft alarms, and custom car stereo installation. They’ve done plenty of work on Daniel Demaras’ beloved Bugeye WRX, like the Kenwood head unit, JL Audio component speakers, and ‘hidden’ subwoofers, all protected by a Compustar immobilizer.
This time Auto-Links was asked to add a little F&F style to the Subaru with an LED underglow system. With ultra-bright light strips front back and both sides, the WRX is a vision in blue. The cool thing is the 200+ pre-programmed light-shows included with the app. Any kind of flashing, flickering or shimmering light display is a click away.
But that blue… the World Rally Blue that matches the paint… is just so cool.
It kind of looks like the blue underglow that Officer Brian O’Conner had under his R34 Nissan Skyline in “2 Fast 2 Furious” opening race scene. But he also had blue ‘ambient’ lighting inside the car. Maybe it’s time to go back to Auto-Links at 300 Nantucket Blvd in Scarborough already.
