Some people, you just can’t reach; there is no excuse for them. Case in point, this goof in Vancouver who was caught speeding by police twice in a 12 minute period.
Shortly after 7:30 am the driver of this black Cadillac was stopped on Knight St doing 90 km/h in a maximum 50 km/h zone. In B.C. the threshold for ‘excessive speeding’ is more than 40 km/h over the limit. So, no suspension, no impound, just a $300 ticket.

The driver’s excuse was he was rushing to get his kid to a ‘sports activity’ which in Canada can only mean late for hockey practice. Back on his way, the driver was then stopped on Terminal Ave doing 81 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. This time, the cops even slapped the driver with an additional ticket for tinted windows too dark.
This driver just needs to be pulled off the road, but instead, there will probably be a push for more automates speed cameras instead.
You can’t fix stupid. But you can impound its car and throw it in jail…
