Saturday was the first oval-track race of the 2026 IndyCar season, and rookie racer Dennis Hauger stole the show at Phoenix Raceway. While zooming through the corner at 275 km/h he ‘lost’ the back end, and the car oversteered a full 180° until it was pointed backwards on track.

Somehow, Hauger managed to avoid hitting the inside wall, straightened out the car, and depressed the clutch to allow the car to roll backwards as rival IndyCars carefully maneuvered around him. The racer did a full J-turn in the corner, like a stunt driver, and continued the race. Amazing skills!
