The Fast Film Fest hosted by Demaras Racing continues next Sunday with a private screening of “F8: The Fate of the Furious” from 2017. This is the eighth action-packed installment in the Fast & Furious franchise, this time directed by F. Gary Gray.
F8 stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Charlize Theron, After the death of Paul Walker, and the departure of Sung Kang and Gal Gadot from the series, few of the original crew was left. It makes the poster below seems off; except for Vin Diesel, only big-name Hollywood actors were used in advertising, instead of the fast family.
This movie is a complete departure from the previous ones. Dom goes rogue and turns his back on the fast family. Plus they go to the north pole and drive on ice while being chased by a submarine! The film was a major box-office hit, grossing over $1.2 billion worldwide

I can see why it was a hit. The plot is so plausible.
