Remember in Fast & Furious 9 when Han drives that 5th-gen 2020 Toyota GR Supra Mk5, painted Plasma Orange like Brian’s 4th-gen Supra from the first F&F film? Now imagine someone hands you the keys to that Supra and tells you to floor it on the Suncoast Parkway. Could you resist?

A 25-year-old Florida woman who felt the need for speed found out the hard way. She was pulled over for driving her boyfriend’s Toyota GR Supra at a staggering 123 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. Asked why she was speeding, Lopez blamed it on the car. “Honestly, it’s just cause he has a Supra, and then I thought it was alright to go fast and everything.” she told police before they slapped the cuffs on her.

She was arrested under Florida’s new super speeder law, similar to Ontario’s MOMS act, which includes serious financial penalties and possible jail time for anyone going 50 MPH over the speed limit. She was charged with Excessive Speeding and Careless Aggressive Driving for swerving through traffic. Additional charges even included Modified Exhaust and Improper Turn Signal.

Lady, that’s not speeding. That’s re-enacting the Fast and the Furious.
