Pierre Gasly had a wild start to the Miami Grand Prix, flipping his Alpine after contact with Liam Lawson.

Heading into Turn 17, Gasly went around the outside, but Lawson locked up while defending and clipped the Alpine’s rear. The contact launched Gasly into a full flip before he slammed into the barrier.

Somehow, Gasly walked away. The wreck brought out a Safety Car, while both drivers were done early, with Lawson retiring by Lap 6 due to damage.
