It’s been a few years since the Demaras family visited Sunset Speedway in Innisfil, Ontario. Weekend after weekend of kart racing keeps us busy.
Saturday night was the last big race of the summer, and for Daniel and Chris, a rare opportunity to watch rather than compete in a race.
Late models, super-stocks and mini-stocks were on the schedule as part of the Nascar Whelen series stop in Innisfiil
The most exiting races were the Outlaw Midget racecars. Looking very much like ‘sprint cars’ complete with roof mounted wings, the cars are the size of an overgrown go-kart, complete with screaming 2 cycle Rotax engine.
The racing was diverse and action packed. Good stuff! And the popcorn. That was good too.
Here’s a little video we shot of the event. Enjoy!
