Congratulations to TEAM MORAD THAN YOU for taking the win today in the final round of the Moradness Karting Championship. The veteran team also won the overall 2020 championship!
The winning team of Leonard D’Arrigo, Londos D’Arrigo and Evan Hayden will get to compete alongside Daniel Morad in two endurance races in the 2021 Lucky Dog Racing Series.
For the Demaras family, who’ve spent the 2020 karting season under the under the New Speed Motorsports tent with Leonard D’Arrigo, it was like watching one of the family up there on the podium. Leonard has been a mentor to Daniel this year, guiding him to podiums, poles and wins.
Reached by phone for comment on his incredible championship run, D’Arrigo commented:
“In 31 years of racing, there’s been lots of times I didn’t give a shit. But for this series, getting to race with my brother Londos, and of course Evan, I couldn’t sleep some nights. For some reason, this one really mattered to me.”
