The Toyota 86 Racing Series is a support category to the Supercars Championship in Australia. At Race 3 in Townsville this season, the No. 8 and the No. 56 went wheel to wheel for an entire lap. Jackson and Baxter-Smith were side-by-side and doing cutbacks, yet the racers went the length of the 2.2 km circuit without contact.
