The unofficial start to Round 4 of the KartStars Canada series was Thursday, September 2nd.. Team trailers started rolling in before 9:00 am, trying to find an area of the paddock that wouldn’t be swampland if the rain predicted for Sunday arrives.
All the New Speed Motorsports drivers took to the track for some practice laps. Leo and Rocco wrestled with the track configuration (and each other) while Cayden Goodridge experimented with different gears. Daniel tried to keep the kart planted, as there’s a tendency to “two-wheel” as this circuit rubbers-in. Chris had plenty of work to do with caster and camber changes.
The race motor pulled strong, after being rebuilt by Dale Bonham at NBS Motorsports.
