Earlier this year, when the WRX was purchased from the previous owner, it still had its OEM aluminum wheels. Those were removed, cleaned, touched up and put away. Replaced with a set of BBS wheels for the summer, this is the first picture of the Bugeye on its stock wheels.

Now, after 6 months on the shelf, the Subaru OEM wheels have been wrapped in a new set of Michelin tires.

Parts guru Tony at Scarboro Subaru provided options of Bridgestone Blizzaks and Continental VikingContact tires. But the choice to install a set 205/55R16 Michelin X-Ice Snow Tires was made. The WRX has held up well this year, but will finally get a chance to show what an amazing 12-month car it is when the snow arrives.

Not to be too stereotypical, but a good set of rallyArmor mud flaps should help to protect the body, and would finish off the look of the Subaru.
