Demaras Racing teamed up with Nostalgia Coffee Company for a Holiday Food Drive that wrapped up earlier this week.
Inspired by the generosity shown during the Toronto Miracle, the racers handled all the driving, picking up food donations from neighbours, and adding them to collections at the cafe on O’Connor Dr. The event called “Nobody Can Run on Empty” helped show that a few motivated individuals can do some good in the community.
Kathy K., the VP of Development at The Woodgreen Foundation, came up to Nostalgia on Wednesday to lend a hand with the loading up the donations. She’s been helpful in guiding the Food Drive.
