The BBC reported on Wednesday that police had recently stopped an 84-year old motorist, only to have him confess that he’d been driving without a licence for over 70 years.
The wheelman managed to avoid being pulled over even once since 1950.
The driver, born in 1938, told officers that he’s been driving since he was 12 years old, without a licence or car insurance. In 72 years behind the wheel, the man had never been in an accident or caught speeding.
Nottinghamshire Police impounded the driver’s Mini Cooper, and the outlaw motorist is due in court to answer charges.
