Will Power has slammed IndyCar series rival Sebastien Bourdais after the Frenchman punted him into the wall during the second leg of the Dual in Detroit. Power crashed out in dramatic fashion on Lap 28 after contact with Bourdais on a restart. After the crash, Power physically struggled with a track marshal, trying to get close to Bourdais’ car to show the Frenchman his displeasure with him.

“Man, I don’t know! What is that guy doing? Double file restarts, and Bourdais got into the back of me. He once was a champ and now he’s a chump.”

Will Power was then placed on probation for the remainder of the 2013 IndyCar season for improper actions toward a fellow competitor after contact during the race.
