Since I was a little kid, one of the highlights of the year has always been the Canadian International Auto Show. My dad would pull me out of school at lunch, and we’d get to see all the newest cars, high performance exotics and classics. The best the automotive world had to show off.

Simulators are always the best part of the Auto Show, especially for kids. Ten years ago, my racing journey began at the Goodwood Kartways simulator at the Auto Show, and as I drove around a virtual Circuit Gilles Villeneuve my dad met Daniel Di Leo and discovered Goodwood’s arrive and drive program. A year later I started competing at Goodwood, and I haven’t left the track since.

This year, I had the special opportunity to work the HIP Motorsports booth and became part of the show! HIP Motorsports is a company right in my wheelhouse. They’re all about motorsports and run a cutting-edge racing simulator studio where I spent many days training. I was happy to help promote HIP Motorsports in front of thousands of auto enthusiasts.

While working the HIP Motorsports booth, I met plenty of people who were eager to get involved in the sport, and hopefully they’ll use HIP Motorsports as the first steppingstone to chasing their racing dreams!
