Twenty-three years after the release of The Fast and the Furious, the eleventh movie (and second installment of the final Fast X trilogy) is now being filmed. The movie will hit the big screen on April 4 2025, only 9 months from now, and this week Dom Toretto himself shared some behind the scenes moments during filming of ‘FAST X: Part 2’ showing off special Mopar cars returning to the series.
There’s a late-model Dodge Challenger similar to the SRT8 that Dom drove in ‘Fast and Furious 6’ with black wheels, gray rear fenders and HEMI badging down the side. Then there’s Letty’s Barracuda, the one she dragged at Race Wars in ‘Furious 7’. The last car on the trailer is the best; the 1971 Plymouth GTX that Dom drove in ‘F8 of the Furious‘ when he temporarily turned evil.

Cast and crew are currently at Irwindale Speedway in California where ‘driver training” is helping the movie stars shake off the rest before their return as kings of the streets. It looks like character Brian O’Connor’s famed Supra (the one he raced against a Ferrari down the Pacific Coast highway to Neptune’s Net) will be back, likely in a flashback scene
