This past Saturday at the 2024 Grand Prix of Mexico, filming for Brad Pitt’s upcoming Formula 1 movie continued. After qualifying for the real-life F1 race wrapped up, 60-year-old Pitt was filmed climbing out of his fictional Apex GP race car after winning in Mexico!

The circuit at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City winds through the old Foro Sol baseball stadium. When F1 races wrap up, the winner parks his car there and basks in the glory of the adoring fans, like a pitcher standing on the mound.

The line between art and life continues to get more blurry, but it will all be clear when the movie is released in the summer of 2025.

      1. He is such a big movie star that the crowd didn’t even have to be prompted to cheer for him.

If you look at the video, there’s a ‘hype man’ standing behind the cameras, wildly waving his arms for the crowd to cheer. And I’m like …bro… that’s Brad Pitt in a F1 car filming what’s possibly the greatest racing movie ever. People are gonna cheer.
