FOX Sports released a funny, exciting commercial promoting the IndyCar series and star driver Josef Newgarden. The commercial is slick, has a high production value, looks totally professional, and even includes a cameo from football hero Tom Brady.

For IndyCar fans, the 2025 IndyCar season being broadcast on FOX is good news. Every race will be on TV, not a paywall-blocked streaming service. NBC had the TV contract for the past 6 years, and they made being an IndyCar fan extremely difficult. Half the races weren’t even broadcast on TV, and their streaming service wasn’t available in Canada.

And them the media companies wonder why illegal streaming is so common.

    1. It’s amazing how difficult this series has made it for Canadians to be race fans. Since I have teenaged kids, they always find a way to locate an illegal stream to watch, but anyone 50 years-old and over would NEVER ben able to do that.

Looking forward to this racing season.

      1. No matter what some people say, those young ones are not good for anything. You can learn a few things from them. The young folks (in their 20s) at the office are teaching us old dogs new tricks. Albeit, some of the old dogs are growling a lot but slowly giving in.

      2. I find it helpful to keep youngsters around to translate the latest slang. And if I missed a race on TV, the youngsters know which Russian websites stream them for free.

So those are some good things.
