As other update from Bucky Lasek on the Subaru SVX project he’s undertaken for his teenage daughter Tenzin (for Part 1 and Part 2 click the links). When that car is done, she will be the coolest kid in her school. Skip the first 3 minutes of the video if you don’t particularly care to watch Bucky feed applies to his pet tortoise.

With an SVX in the Demaras Racing stable, we are all too familiar with the problems Bucky is facing. Busted radiators and blown up transmissions are common with these cars. But it would serve Bucky well to do more research before continuing his project.

For example, the USDM spoiler Bucky installed is considered to be a little odd. It’s simply too far forward (see top picture) and does not follow the SVX body lines. Subaru SVX enthusiasts commonly re-locate the spoiler 2″ further back (see bottom picture) for more flowing line.

But those really in the know scrap the USDM part altogether and order a JDM spoiler from Yahoo Auctions Japan. It’s taller and more aerodynamically aggressive, while also being more elegant.

Give us a call, Bucky. We’ve got lot’s of tips for you, bro.
