The annual Canadian International Auto Show runs from Friday February 13 to Sunday February 22 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Every year, car companies display the latest in new vehicles and concept cars, attracting gearheads from all across the Great Lakes.
But yesterday’s press release announced a special appearance by acclaimed American actor Sung Kang best know as Han Seoul-Oh from Fast & Furious. He’ll be at the big show today through Friday promoting his new movie DRIFTER which is slated for theatrical release this summer.
There will be a ‘sneak-preview’ of the film, and a live Q&A session with the writer / director / actor, plus meet-and-greet opportunities for fast fans. Exclusive DRIFTER T-shirts and autographed posters will be available Wednesday through Friday inside the PASMAG Garage on Level 100.
Since October 2025, the gearheads at Demaras Racing have been hosting the Fast Film Fest at a local cinema. The next screenings are currently scheduled for:
- – March 1st: Furious 7 (2015)
- – March 22nd: Fast 8: The Fate of the Furious (2017)
- – April 12th: F9: The Fast Saga (2021)
- – May 3rd: Fast X (2023)
Although a date for the theatrical release of DRIFTER has not been set, Sunk Kang’s worldwide publicity tour With the tenth and final F&F movie scheduled for screening in May, the plan is to close the film fest with a screening of DRIFTER.
