In July 2023, Daniel Demaras and his Team Canada compatriots travelled to California for the second ever K1 Speed World Championships. The event was held at the all-new K1 Circuit in Winchester, California (in the desert, folks) where temperatures soared to 41°C !
Pics and video of the event is still being processed, but good-guy Jason at K1 Speed Canada published this ‘trailer’ on social media. The full video, complete with driver interviews and track action, should be ready soon.
For Daniel Demaras, it was a chance to compete one more time in the discipline where he got started; kart racing. Daniel has spent many years competing at K1 Speed, and now that he’s moved up to racing cars, K1 Speed remains a strong supporter and sponsor.
