Ask any gearhead what movie character they’d want to be, and the answer is Dom Toretto. He went from illegal street racer to international super spy all while maintaining the family values that made America great!

HE’S GOT STYLE In this age of Rogaine and hair transplant surgery, Toretto made being bald cool. He’s the archetypal, hyper-masculine guy who doesn’t need long, flowing locks of hair getting in his eyes when he’s running from the cops. He is all business.

HE’S BRAND LOYAL From that supercharged 1970 Dodge Charger RT that Dom rolled in the first movie, to the 2010 Dodge Charger SRT-8 he used to yank a vault out of a wall in Fast Five, when it comes to Dom Toretto it’s either Mopar or No Car.

HE LIVES BY A CODE Toretto is very big on respect and loyalty. Like a cowboy in the old westerns, Dom’s role is to protect the flock, even if he has to sacrifice himself to do it. He may be labeled a criminal, but his actions are always motivated by his drive to shelter and provide for his family.

    1. When that first movie came out in 2001, I was already battling the scourge of thinning hair. Then I saw this cool dude was on screen with his head shaved and I though “OK” and my life has been better ever since. I even married the girl I saw that movie with!
      .
But until I wrote this silly little post, I never paid attention to all the Christian symbolism in the movies. There’s a lot!
