On the way back to Toronto from Vallis Motor Sport last week, we stopped by NV Auto in Hamilton. Long before we ever met Can-Jam Motorsports, the boys at NV Auto had their way with our vintage ’92 Subaru SVX. Although the 32-year-old GT car has only 130,000 km on the clock, it’s been upgraded with AirLift Performance air suspension. Nothing looks as cool as a long, low, wide SVX when it’s fully aired-out.
Just when you think you’re the coolest kid in the class, they park you next to this.

This mid-90s Subaru Impreza GC with the sinister black paint and No. 555 on the door is the real deal. A full roll cage, massive TRIAL fender flares and a carbon-fiber roof are just some details. Apparently, this was a show car for many years, but the owner made the decision to turn it into a serious “time attack” machine.

NV Auto is a Subaru specialty shop, so of course there’s going to be Bugeyes, Blobeyes, and Hawkeyes. But you just don’t expect to see a car as cool as this parked next to your own. We really hope to see the No. 555 at the next CSCS event in June.
