End-of-season banquets are special moments for racers. Getting together in a relaxed social setting with friends from the track, while competitors are recognized for their accomplishments. Daniel Demaras was privileged to receive CRKC awards in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 as well as K1RS awards in 2018, 2019. yet despite back-to-back championships, has not received TRAK awards for 2020, 2021 even though he’s already moved on to compete F1200 and even attended the 2022 awards banquet.

Goodwood Kartways long-overdue TRAK / KartStars Awards banquet is scheduled for Sunday December 18 2022, and will finally recognize the 2020/2021 champions, including Daniel Demaras in the Briggs & Stratton Masters class.
Its banquet time and planning is well underway for our 2022 celebration. This email is directed specifically to TRAK/KartStars Award winners from the 2020 and/or 2021 season. As you are well aware, Covid interruptions cancelled any plans for a proper celebration for the 2020 and/or 2021 season.
During that time I played with multiple scenario’s on how we could get caught up but never did find a solution that was inclusive of all involved while maintaining the reason for these celebrations ‘to recognize participants for their outstanding achievements’. Like so many other cancelled gatherings, a lot of this was beyond our control. That said, we are happy to extend an invitation to those of you effected, by inviting you to this years award celebration.
For those of you who can join, we have built in an opportunity to recognize your achievements and present you with your awards during this years presentation as we look to make the most of this difficult situation. For those who can’t make it, rest assured your awards are in hand and available for pick up at the track.
Daniel DiLeo, Goodwood Kartways
